WEB END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (WULA) V.1

By downloading, installing, or using this web-font software, you agree to be bound by the following legal terms:

  1. GRANT OF LICENSE This is a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the web-font software. This agreement is a license for use and not a sale of the original software, vector geometry, or underlying code. All intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of SO-AND-SO TYPED IT.

  2. PERMITTED USAGE Self-Hosting: Font software must be hosted on a server or private Content Delivery Network (CDN) owned or controlled by the licensee.

Domain Scope: Usage is restricted to one (1) primary registered domain and its direct sub-domains (e.g., shop.domain.com).

Styling: Implementation is permitted solely for the purpose of styling text on websites via @font-face CSS rules.

  1. RESTRICTIONS No Desktop Installation: This license does not permit installation on local workstations or use in design applications (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud).

No Hotlinking: Licensee may not link to font files hosted on third-party servers or unauthorized repositories.

No Modification: Licensee shall not decompile, reverse-engineer, rename, or modify the software or its outlines in any capacity.

No Redistribution: The software must not be made available for download by unauthorized third parties or site visitors.

  1. AUDIT & METRICS The license fee is based on monthly pageview traffic. Licensee is responsible for monitoring these metrics. If monthly pageviews exceed the licensed tier for three (3) consecutive months, a tier upgrade is mandatory. SO-N-SO reserves the right to request verified traffic reports.

  2. TERMINATION Any breach of these terms, including under-licensing of traffic or unauthorized domain use, results in the immediate and automatic termination of this license. Upon termination, all font software must be deleted from all servers and storage media.
